The mark is on Manasota Key, in Section 35, Township 40 South, Range 19 East.

To reach the mark from the junction of State Road 776 (South McCall Road) and Beach Road in Englewood, go southwest on Beach Road for 1.4 miles to the junction of North Beach Road on the right, turn right on North Beach Road and go north for 1.7 miles to the Sarasota-Charlotte County Line and the mark on the right, a metal rod with a Charlotte County logo cap flush with the ground.

The mark is located 23.0 feet northeast of the centerline of North Beach Road, 6.0 feet south of power pole 70522, 5.0 feet southeast of a metal post supporting a sign ---ENTERING SARASOTA COUNTY---, and 2.0 feet southwest of a Carsonite witness post. The rim of the logo cap is inscribed ---E 799 2017---.
