Built in 1905 thanks to the funds of the Wallon-Satizelle family, destroyed during the First World War, rebuilt almost identically, the Saint-Quentin church in Holnon has been the subject of all the attention of successive municipal councils.
This religious building, which houses the Wallon-Satizelle family in its crypt, has undergone an overall interior renovation that is admired by the believers.
Every evening, at nightfall, she dresses in light. Its facade surmounted by two illuminated bell towers reveals the woodwork of the oak frames. Its bell tower surrounded by large sound shades has a set of four bright time dials at its top.
In addition to the 3 imposing existing bells, a set of 18 bells made of bronze (78% copper and 22% tin) was placed in the heart of the bell tower in 2003. Every half hour the chime plays a different and appropriate melody. This musical ensemble, there are only a few of them in the Aisne department, brings a permanent note of joy and makes the pride of the people of Holnon.
