Fittstown is a small unincorporated community in south central Pontotoc County. There is a small business section along US 377, and there are between 50 and 100 residents here. Besides the church's active
Facebook page, they have no significant online presence beyond web-spidered directory listings, and there is no church history to be found. A stone worked into the fabric of the sanctuary out front indicates that they organized in 1935 and this building dates to 1958. Sunday services are at 11 AM and 6 PM.
The bell itself has no identifying marks beyond its #20 yoke, and it's more the size of a school bell, perhaps with its own history prior to the church's establishment in the 1930s. It is attached a steel post, and there's a chain hanging off of it that indicates it still sees use.
