[DE] "Der Bahnhof Alexanderplatz ist ein Bahnhof der Deutschen Bahn am Alexanderplatz im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte. Der Durchgangsbahnhof an der Stadtbahn ist in die Bahnhofskategorie 3 der DB Station&Service eingestuft. Bei den Zahlen der täglichen Fahrgäste im Regionalverkehr stand die Station Alexanderplatz Ende 2006 an dritter Stelle hinter den Bahnhöfen Friedrichstraße und Zoologischer Garten.
Im Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) ist er Station sowohl von Regional- als auch S-Bahn und beinhaltet den gleichnamigen Kreuzungsbahnhof der Berliner U-Bahn, der als einer der größten U-Bahnhöfe der BVG von drei Linien bedient wird. Vor dem Bahnhof Alexanderplatz kann man zum innerstädtischen Verkehr mit Bussen (Metrobus) oder Straßenbahnen wechseln.
Wegen seiner Lage am Berliner Fernsehturm und dem Einkaufszentrum Alexa sowie der Nähe zur Museumsinsel, zum Nikolaiviertel und dem Roten Rathaus ist er auch ein beliebter Ausgangspunkt für Touristen."
