He originally was buried in Glenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Broomall, PA and was reinterred in April 1891 to Northwood Cemetery. He was born in 1839 in Kurhessen, Germany and died on March 8, 1882 in Philadelphia, PA. His Medal of Honor information and citation is: MILLER, JOHN
