A mid 14th century octagonal limestone font in St Mary's church, Battisford. It has varied window tracery on the bowl and a moulded stem.

"St. Mary's is a small, country church which is much loved within our community. It has sense of peace and tranquility and is filled with soft light.

Originally built in the medieval period, it has had later additions over the centuries. It was strongly associated with the Knights of St. John who owned the nearby manor house.

The church has wooden pews and can seat up to 125 people."
