The water fall is situated in front of the Waterfall Health Spa at the Salutation Hotel located on Lake Road in Ambleside.

The man-made waterfall is located at the front of the entrance to the Waterfall Health Spa. It runs down over stones surrounded by stone walls and is set into the steep bank next to the steps leading from the pavement to the front entrance of the spa.

The waterfall can be viewed from the street.
