"Située derrière le pont du chemin de fer, on l'aperçoit depuis le pont de l'Intendant-le-Nain. De la petite rue de l'Abreuvoir, elle lance avec élégance son arc en architecture métallique plus que centenaire entre les deux rives du Clain. Dans le quartier, on appelle Eiffel cet ouvrage piétonnier fermé au public depuis le 9 septembre 2001. « C'était deux jours avant le drame des tours jumelles », se souvient parfaitement ce pêcheur.
Depuis cette année des projets de réhabilitation sont en cours."
