A wayside altar dedicated to Mary in the forest south of Ettingen.

EN: The Mary shrine is located on the edge of a forest path south of Ettingen.
The stone monument has a small bronze statue of Mary in a niche. In the foundation is "Ave Maria", above it is dated 1883. In front of the statue is a banner with the content: "Mary spread your coat ~ protect our beautiful homeland". This seems to have been attached later.
On certain holidays, the shrine is visited by the community, but I could not find the specific dates.
DE: Der Marienbildstock bfindet sich am Rand eines Waldwegs südlich von Ettingen.
Das steinerne Denkmal hat eine kleine bronzene Marienstatue in einer Nische. Im Fundament steht "Ave Maria" darüber ist das Jahr 1883 angegeben. Vor der Statue ist ein Schriftband mit dem Inhalt: "Maria breite Deinen Mantel aus ~ beschütze unser schönes Heimatland". Dieses scheint nachträglich angebracht worden zu sein.
An bestimmten Feiertagen wird der Bildstock von der Gemeinde besucht, ich konnte aber keine konkreten Daten finden.
