The flag of Mörel-Filet was created in 2009, when the communities Filet and Mörel merged. The new flag is a slight modification and simplification of the old flag of Filet. The bull's head was already before the main element of both communities. It may have come from the coat of arms of the Nobles of Mangepan, a knightly family who lived in a castle west of Mörel.

I found the flag on the square in front of the railway station of Mörel.

Die Fahne von Mörel-Filet entstand 2009 als die Gemeinden Filet und Mörel fusionierten. Die neue Fahne ist eine leichte Abwandlung und Vereinfachung der alten Fahne von Filet. Der Stierkopf war schon zuvor bei beiden Gemeinden das Hauptelement. Er stammt möglicherweise vom Wappen der Edlen von Mangepan, ein Rittergeschlecht, das auf einem Schloss westlich von Mörel beheimatet war.

Ich fand die Fahne auf dem Platz vor dem Bahnhf von Mörel.
