Eduard Rhein (1900 - 1993) war ein berühmter Erfinder, Schriftsteller, Journalist und Publizist. Seine Erfindungen und technischen Bücher beschäftigten sich vor allem mit Radio-, Funk- und Radartechnik. 1946 bis 1964 war Edurard Rhein Chefredakteur der Programmzeitschrift "Hörzu", die er zur erfolgreichsten Programmzeitschrift Europas machte. 1976 gründete er die Eduard-Rhein-Stiftung, bis heute die größte europäische Stiftung für Informationstechnik.

Geboren und aufgewachsen ist Eduard Rhein in diesem Haus bei Königswinter. Es liegt außerhalb von Königswinter am Hang vom Siebengebirge direkt am Weg zum Drachenfels. Eine Plakette am Weg erinnert an Rhein.

From 1946 to 1964, Edurard Rhein was editor-in-chief of the program magazine "Hörzu", which he made the most successful program magazine in Europe. In 1976 he founded the Eduard Rhein Foundation, until today the largest European foundation for information technology.

Eduard Rhein was born and grew up in this house near Königswinter. It is located outside of Königswinter on the slope of the Siebengebirge directly on the way to the Drachenfels. A plaque at the street reminds of Rhine.
