[FR] Maison-Atelier construite par Le Corbusier située à Paris. La maison est située à l’angle de l’avenue Reille à Paris, France.
En 1922, peu de temps après le début de leur collaboration avec Ozenfant, Le Corbusier a mené un projet d’étude pour le peintre en bâtiment. Il s’agit de la première œuvre que Le Corbusier construit à Paris.
En 1923, Le Corbusier et son cousin Pierre Jeanneret construisent pour Ozenfant une maison-atelier dans le quartier Montsouris. Un escalier extérieur en spirale mène au 1er étage, occupé par une chambre et une salle de bain. Eclairé à l’origine par des sheds vitrés, l’atelier occupe un grand volume double en hauteur situé aux 2ème et 3ème étages.
Cette maison-atelier est l’une des premières œuvres puristes de Le Corbusier, au même titre que les villas La Roche et Jeanneret.
Amédée Ozenfant (1886-1966) est un peintre puriste. En 1919, il fonde la revue L’Esprit nouveau avec son ami, l’architecte Le Corbusier.

In 1922, shortly after the beginning of their collaboration with Ozenfant, Le Corbusier conducted a study project for the house painter. This is the first work that Le Corbusier built in Paris.
In 1923, Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret built for Ozenfant a house-workshop in the Montsouris district. A spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor, occupied by a bedroom and a bathroom. Initially illuminated by glazed sheds, the workshop occupies a large double volume in height located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
This house-studio is one of the first purist works of Le Corbusier, as well as the villas La Roche and Jeanneret.
Amédée Ozenfant (1886-1966) is a purist painter. In 1919, he founded the magazine L'Esprit nouveau with his friend, the architect Le Corbusier.
