Ce jardin en terrasses, conçu dans le respect de la biodiversité, constitue une maille du vaste tissu écologique de la vallée de la Charente. Baladez-vous sur ce trait d'union entre le fleuve et le Château de l'Yeuse, où le paysage de la vallée est le cadre sans limite du jardin. La recherche de l'équilibre entre l'homme et la nature, entre le cultivé et le sauvage, l'indigène et l'exotique, est le maître mot de ses créateurs. Par la visite de ce Jardin respectueux, l'architecte paysagiste, Rémi Marcotte, vise à sensibiliser chaque visiteur à des gestes simples pour améliorer notre environnement et retrouver une nature évoluant en harmonie avec l'être humain.
Ces jardins ont été conçus pour être de véritables outils pédagogiques au service des enseignants et animateurs en temps périscolaire.

Ils ont été réalisés dans le temps scolaire suivant un programme s’échelonnant sur deux années minimum.

Les acteurs de ces projets sont les enfants, le corps enseignant, les services municipaux, les parents d’élèves, les grands-parents et notre association.
Le jardin s’avère être un outil pédagogique sensationnel, permettant d’aborder des sujets aussi riches et variés que la biodiversité, les sciences, l’art, les mathématiques, le français... un véritable lieu de vie avec ses règles et ses codes.


This terraced garden, designed with respect for biodiversity, is a mesh of the vast ecological fabric of the Charente valley. Stroll along this link between the river and the Château de l'Yeuse, where the landscape of the valley is the limitless setting of the garden. The search for the balance between man and nature, between the cultivated and the savage, the native and the exotic, is the key word of its creators. By visiting this respectful Garden, the landscape architect, Rémi Marcotte, aims to make each visitor aware of simple actions to improve our environment and to find a nature evolving in harmony with the human being.
These gardens were designed to be real educational tools for teachers and facilitators in extra-curricular time.

They were made in school time following a program spanning at least two years.

The actors in these projects are children, teachers, municipal services, parents, grandparents and our association.
The garden proves to be a sensational pedagogical tool, allowing to tackle topics as rich and varied as biodiversity, sciences, art, mathematics, French ... a real place of life with its rules and its codes.
