"Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life" is a quote from Revelation 2:10 of the King James Version of the Bible which appears on this stained glass war memorial window.

In the top left corner of the window are the words:
'BE THOU FAITHFUL
UNTO DEATH'

and in the top right conrer of the window are the words:
'AND I WILL GIVE THEE
A CROWN OF LIFE'

This Stained Glass Window Memorial can be found inside the Waterloo Road Methodist Church in Ramsey.

The window depicts kneeling angels at the two base corneers in front of colums. In the cetre of the window a silver circle which is engaved with a crown. Below this is the following dedictaion:
'TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF THE MEMBERS
OF THIS CONGREGATION AND
SUNDAY SCHOOL WHO FELL IN
THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918'

In the top left corner of the window are the words:
'BE THOU FAITHFUL
UNTO DEATH'

At the base of the window are the words:
'THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE'

and in the top right conrer of the window are the words:
'AND I WILL GIVE THEE
A CROWN OF LIFE'

Description: Inscription reads as follows: "Be thou faithful / unto death / and I will give thee / a crown of life. / To the Glory of God / and in memory of the members / of this congregation and / Sunday School who fell in / the Great War 1914-1918. / Their name liveth for evermore." Followed by two alphabetical lists of names, 19 for the Army and 8 for the Navy.

Wall mounted stained glass panel framed with oak and illuminated.

Moved from vestibule after chapel reconstruction in 1937.
