[DE] Der Elisenbrunnen wurde 1828 eingeweiht und von Johann Peter Cremer und Karl Friedrich Schinkel entworfen. Auf dem Platz davor findet sich dieses Modell des Künstlers Egbert Broerken (Maßstab 1:100). Es ist aus Bronze und wurde 2014 gestiftet. Es ermöglicht Blinden, dieses Aachener Wahrzeichen zu berühren, zu begreifen und für sich zu entdecken.
[ENG] The Elisenbrunnen was inaugurated in 1828 and designed by Johann Peter Cremer and Karl Friedrich Schinkel. On the square in front one can find this model by the artist Egbert Broerken (scale 1: 100). It is made of bronze and donated in 2014. It enables the blind to touch, understand and discover this Aachen landmark.
