[DE] "Die einzige Kirche im Bistum Trier unter dem Patronat der Hl. Cäcilia wurde im klassischen mainfränkischen Barockstil vom berühmten Baumeister Balthasar Neumann entworfen. Auftraggeber war der hier ansässige Karl Kaspar Graf von der Leyen. 1742 wurde sie fertiggestellt. Im Inneren der Kirche befinden sich prunkvolle Schnitzarbeiten und Ausstattungen aus der Epoche."


Aufgeführt ist die Kirche in der Liste der Kulturdenkmäler für Saffig: "Saalbau mit querhausartigen Annexen, 1738–48, Architekten Johann Georg Seitz und Johannes Seiz nach Plänen von Balthasar Neumann, moderner Anbau, 1958–60, Architekt J. Klein, Essen"

[EN] "The only church in the diocese of Trier under the patronage of St. Cäcilia was designed in the classic Main-Franconian baroque style by the famous architect Balthasar Neumann. The client was the local Karl Kaspar Graf von der Leyen. It was completed in 1742. Inside the church there are magnificent carvings and furnishings from the period".
