The Grand View Resort supplies spectacular Summer and Fall views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossipee Mountains from its hilltop location. The seasonal 20-room property consists of well-manicured and spacious grounds and a swimming pool with full sun. The accommodations are nine drive-up cottages and a small motel with a dozen rooms. It is located on Route 3, three blocks up the hill from Weirs Beach and its famous Boardwalk, the MS Mount Washington Cruise and many Lakes Region attractions. Lots of nearby special events such as: Laconia Bike Week, NASCAR, Soul Fest, Pumpkin Festival and numerous County Fairs.

 Fireplaces in the rooms?: There is a large communal fire pit at the eastern edge of the property with a lake- and mountain-view. It is beyond the pool and away from guest accommodations
 Restaurant on premises and type of restaurant?: A short path at the southern end of the property leads to Kellerhaus, an ice cream shop and waffle buffet. A sprawling gift shop surrounds the dining room on three sides without blocking the view of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossippee Mountains.
Other nearby restaurants include: Faro Italian Grille, The Union Diner, Crazy Gringo, Town Docks, Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant, Lakehouse at Church Landing, and the Winnepesaukee Scenic Railroad and Diner Train among many other local choices.
