Un monument qui rend hommage à 3 habitants de St Amand : Angèle Lecat, fusillée par les Allemands en 1918 alors qu'elle leur résistait, Emile Gressier fusillé le 19 avril 1916 ( condamné car il servait de guide, pour le passage à la frontière hollandaise, pour les Amandinois mobilisables qui voulaient gagner la France Libre, pour servir le pays et Louise de Bettignies,le 27 septembre 1918 (comdamnée pour espionnage)
A monument that pays homage to 3 inhabitants of St Amand: Angèle Lecat, shot by the Germans in 1918 while she resisted them, Emile Gressier shot on April 19, 1916 (condemned as it served as a guide, for the crossing to the Dutch border for Amandinois mobilisables who wanted to win Free France, to serve the country and Louise de Bettignies, September 27, 1918 (condemned for espionage)
