FR Les voitures de collections ont de plus en plus le vent en poupe, et leurs amateurs apprécient de se retrouver pour évoquer leurs bolides lors de rencontres festives. Ces passionnés de voitures anciennes ont rendez-vous demain à Calas, dans le parc du château pour la septième édition du "Printemps au château". Cet événement, organisé par l'association Cabr'Auto Passion, est devenu très rapidement incontournable. Les clubs des communes voisines participent à cette fête depuis la première édition, et contribuent largement au succès de la manifestation.

Modèles anciens, bourse de pièces détachées...
"Ce rendez-vous d'amateurs et collectionneurs de la région réservera de nombreuses surprises", indique le président de l'association, Jean-Marc Giner.

L'association les "44 Memories" installera son campement militaire dans le parc et les visiteurs pourront découvrir des jeeps, ambulances, et autres véhicules datant de la libération. L'éventail des véhicules exposés sera vaste : de la fameuse Panhard-Levasseur de 1912 à la Ferrari et autres Aston Martin, en passant par quelques ancêtres d'avant-guerre, populaires françaises, ou encore nombreux "youngtimers", et golf GTI. "Celles-ci, certains les ont connus dans leur jeunesse", sourit Jean-Marc Giner. Des voitures de séries américaines seront également visibles.

Une bourse de pièces détachées et des modèles de voitures miniatures compléteront l'exposition. Les visiteurs pourront également apprécier un défilé de cornemuses, la fameuse paella de Robert (10€) en écoutant un orchestre de jazz. Une tombola sera proposée pour faire gagner une belle mobylette de 1961 ou de nombreux d'autres lots. "Plus de 300 voitures anciennes constitueront ce vrai musée à ciel ouvert", poursuit-il. De nombreux visiteurs des quatre coins de la région sont attendus pour s'immerger dans une atmosphère amicale et familiale. Banquet et ambiance champêtre seront les ingrédients de la réussite de cette journée.
EN Collector cars are becoming more and more popular, and their enthusiasts appreciate meeting up to talk about their cars during festive gatherings. These antique car enthusiasts will meet tomorrow in Calas, in the castle park, for the seventh edition of the "Printemps au château". This event, organized by the Cabr'Auto Passion association, quickly became a must. Clubs from neighbouring municipalities have been participating in this celebration since the first edition, and have made a significant contribution to the success of the event.

Old models, spare parts exchange...
"This meeting of amateurs and collectors from the region will have many surprises in store," says the association's president, Jean-Marc Giner.

The "44 Memories" association will set up its military camp in the park and visitors will be able to discover jeeps, ambulances, and other vehicles dating from the liberation. The range of vehicles on display will be vast: from the famous Panhard-Levasseur of 1912 to the Ferrari and other Aston Martins, as well as some pre-war ancestors, popular French folk, or many "youngtimers", and GTI golf. "These, some of them knew them in their youth," smiles Jean-Marc Giner. American series cars will also be on display.

A stock exchange of spare parts and models of miniature cars will complete the exhibition. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a parade of bagpipes, Robert's famous paella (10€) while listening to a jazz band. A raffle will be held to win a beautiful 1961 moped or many other prizes. "More than 300 vintage cars will make up this true open-air museum," he continues. Many visitors from all over the region are expected to immerse themselves in a friendly and family atmosphere. Banquet and country atmosphere will be the ingredients for the success of this day.
