CT587 is marked by a City of Toronto Dept. of Public Works Surveying Div. benchmark disk. The disk is mounted in the stone wall of Croft Chapter House, near the Southwest corner of the University College building. The disk is on one of the stone pillars, about 3/4 meter / 2.5 feet above the sidewalk level (third row of stones from the sidewalk level).
