The Fountain Hill Veterans Memorial stands at Fountain Lake Park in the Community of Fountain Hills, Arizona. Construction on the Memorial began in 2001 and was completed in 2005. The Memorial was dedicated on Memorial Day 2005 with over 1,000 people in attendance, including Vietnam Medal of Honor Recipient Fred Ferguson and Navajo Code Talker Joe Kellwood. The dedication of the memorial took place on Memorial Day in 2005. The ceremony was attended by over a thousand people, including Vietnam Medal of Honor recipient Fred Ferguson, and Navajo Code Talkers Joe Kellwood, who sang the Marine Hymn in Navajo. The Memorial consists of four distinct area, the wall, the cannon area, the donor wall and the memorial plaza. The memorial honors veterans who served during the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf. Standing in the Memorial Plaza is the statue of an aging World War I soldier wearing the Medal of Honor, holding a cane in one hand and saluting the flag with the other. This memorial stands as an everlasting tribute to our veterans and is a reminder that the freedom that we enjoy is not free.

The Memorial consists of four distinct area, the wall, the cannon area, the donor wall and the memorial plaza. It is located adjacent to Fountain Hill Lake which features one of the worlds largest fountain. It is perfectly landscaped and is a fitting memorial to our Nations Veterans
