A section of tree trunk, some 300+ years of age, labelled 'dendrochronologically' from 1605 to 1899 in reception at Salford Hall, Abbots Salford.

The wood came from the B.T.S Exhibition Building Centre Bond Street. Salvaged from the debris after bomb damage Oct 1940 / May 1941.
