McLagan, Lizzie, House aka McLagan - Black House - Kirkwood, Missouri - U.S. National Register of Historic Places on Waymarking.com

This frame Italianate style house was built in 1865 for the McLagan family. In 1879 the house was purchased by Charles Black who published a local newspaper. From 1972 until 1992 the house was owned by Kirkwood Historical Society and was used as a museum and was called History House. In 1992 the house returned to being a private residence.
