The Conservancy's website (
visit link) explains the park's policy of Trees for Bees:
"Bees are responsible for one in every three bites of food that we and other animals take, and one of the best things you can do to pay it forward is to plant flowering trees!
Planting a bee-friendly garden filled with shrubs and flowers is a huge help to bees seeking habitat and forage, but planting trees can support an even greater bee population by providing a stable and abundant food source."
In addition to the trees and plants that the Conservancy has chosen, they have provided homes for the bees who assist in pollination.
