Former communist regime in Czechoslovakia building and restoration of St. James routes of course did not support. But currently exists in Czech Republic several civic volunteer associations (Ultreia o.s. (visit link) , Cesta hvezdy, Klub ceských turistu, AgAkcent, Venkovský prostor, Nadace Partnerství) which mark the St. James routes and trails. These associations also do a promotion of St. James pilgrimage in Czech Republic.
