[EN] "In 1412, Duke Stefan of Bavaria, in his capacity as sovereign of the state, and together with the hospital donated by him, granted permission for the construction of a church dedicated to the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, in 1836 this had to give way to a new thoroughfare and was replaced by a late classicist building, which JOSEF SCHWEINESTER from St. Johann performed in the same year. The one-nave room, sparingly structured with stucco strips and pilaster strips, contains two treasures. The simple altar has been decorated since 1961 with "The Holy Trinity" by SIMON BENEDIKT FAISTENBERGER, probably built around 1740. In the nave stands the almost life-size group "Our Lord on the Staircase", Jesus at the Way of the Cross, followed by Simon of Cyrene and a henchman, rare wooden sculptures from the middle of the 15th century."

The church is listed in the list of listed buildings in Kitzbühel: "The church was built in 1837 instead of a Gothic church, consecrated in 1412 and demolished in 1835 for road construction, and adjoins the former citizens' hospital to the north-east. The narrow classicist building with a rectangular ground plan has a steep hipped roof crowned by a ridge turret. The facades are structured with pilasters and profiled cornices."
