The Trailhead sign next to parking states this is the Baer Trailhead, but the online site and information sign further up the trail lists this as Bair Trail.
This is a beautiful area for hiking, especially when the leaves turn color. The trail up a few hundred feet is very wide, then it narrows to only a few feet wide as it wanders up in elevation.
Parking is available at a small lot almost exactly at the trailhead coordinates posted. You'll know you're near when you see the big white water tower.

Bair Canyon Trail is a 9.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kaysville, Utah that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Elevation gain is 4,307 feet.
