NRHP Nomination FormThe simple, rectangular buildings are constructed of local limestone with load bearing walls 18 inches thick. Italianate front facades are highly decorated. Each building front has four regularly spaced openings, paired doors with arched two light transom windows at the first floor and two-over-two, double-hung windows at the second floor. The plaster finish is scored to resemble large stone blocks for the body of the building, and smooth plaster pilasters frame each first floor opening and supporting the smooth plaster hoods above each arched transom. The smooth plaster hoods also repeat above the segmentally arched windows of the second floor.
