Moxie Falls is a very scenic waterfall just a few miles east of The Forks, Maine. Take US-201 north out of Skowhegan, ME about 42 miles to The Forks, then east on Moxie Lake Rd about 2 miles to the parking lot on the left. The well-worn trail is about 20 minutes in length to the top of the falls. To get to the bottom of the 100-ft gorge is a very difficult climb. There are several nice unnamed falls (mostly cascades) above and below the main falls.
I always take my Waterfalls Class to see this gem.
