Torrential rains, up to 4 inches an hour, flooded local creeks and the Elm Fork of the Trinity River in and around Gainesville, Texas on June 18, 2007. They high water mark has been painted on the Bomber Bait Company in Gainesville.

Bomber Bait Company, 326 S Lindsey St in Gainesville Texas has a line painted on the front of the building indicating the high water mark of the flood of June 18, 2007. Storms bringing torrential rains, dumping an inch of water every 15 minutes, caused local creeks and the Elm For of the Trinity River to flood. Flooding was cited as the cause of death for 4 people.
