"The church Saint Jean-Baptiste Audresselles, was built in sandstone in the thirteenth century.

Its thick walls are pierced by archers, and its tower located between choir and nave bears the trace of two old arms of transept.

The original building whose nave was longer was almost destroyed by the wars of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The porch of the nave was redone in the eighteenth century and bears the date of 1769 to the claveau.

The church is the successor to a former seigniorial chapel dedicated to the Holy Trinity, located near the castle of Guy d'Oderselles, on a site nowadays won by the sea.

The crypt of the disappeared chapel, dug out of sandstone, was still used at the beginning of the 20th century."
