Nazaire PICHÉ, prêtre (1831-1900)
Né à Saint-Sulpice, le 27 juillet 1831, fils de Benjamin PICHÉ, et de Lucille RIVEST.
Il fit à l’Assomption ses études classiques et philosophiques, de 1842 à 1849, et deux ans de théologie et de professorat, après quoi il alla au Grand Séminaire de Montréal. Il fut ordonné prêtre à Montréal, le 19 février 1854. En 1854, vicaire à Caughnawaga ; en 1854-1855, desservant à Saint-Jean ; de 1855 à 1860, curé de Saint-Alphonse ; de 1860 à 1900, curé de Lachine, où il est décédé subitement, le 22 juillet 1900. M. PICHÉ était chanoine honoraire de la cathédrale de Montréal.

Nazaire PICHÉ, priest (1831-1900)
Born in Saint-Sulpice, July 27, 1831, son of Benjamin PICHÉ, and Lucille RIVEST.
He did his classical and philosophical studies in Assomption, from 1842 to 1849, and two years of theology and professorship, after which he went to the Grand Seminary of Montreal. He was ordained a priest in Montreal on February 19, 1854. In 1854, curate at Caughnawaga; in 1854-5, serving Saint-Jean; from 1855 to 1860, parish priest of Saint-Alphonse; from 1860 to 1900, parish priest of Lachine, where he died suddenly, July 22, 1900. Mr. PICHÉ was honorary canon of the cathedral of Montreal.
