"Uniform functional ensemble commissioned in 1895 by the factory council at Merklin et Cie organ builders in Lyon, Buisine carpentry sculptor in Lille, organ financed by donations from the faithful, tribune and organ cabinet financed by legacy of the abbot Auguste Winemaker died in 1876, inauguration on January 28, 1897, destruction by bombing in 1944, remains of the organ sold after 1945, remains of the organ gallery and organ case kept in the basilica.
The organ was replaced by an instrument made by Strauss-Strauss-based Curt Schwenkedel in 1974, inaugurated in 1975. A third keyboard was added by the Bernard Aubertin institutions in 1992.
Description: massive devoid of ornamentation; at the top of the central turret, statue of David flanked by two seated angels; statues of trumpet angels above the side turrets; cherub head under the stand and in the upper part of each turret. "

L'orgue a été remplacé par un instrument réalisé par le facteur strasbourgeaois Curt Schwenkedel en 1974, inauguré en 1975. Un troisième clavier a été ajouté par les établissements Bernard Aubertin en 1992.
