Born 1946 in Neheim Hüsten, Germany. 1966–1973 studied sculpture at the Academy of Visual Arts Hamburg under Gustav Seitz and Jochen Hiltmann. Since 1973 freelance in Hamburg. Since 1983 teaching position in the department of architecture, Technical College, Academy of Applied Science, HafenCity University.
