Hills of Snow earned a spot on the Ourstate.com website, describing the founding and the current business making "snow" as they prefer calling the icy creations. (visit link)

"The snowballs were, and are, far creamier than the icy, rainbow-hued version most of us think of when we hear the term snow cone, and they can be licked, spooned, or sucked through a straw as they melt."

Per the article, Tom Hill who founded the business, personally built the snow cone structure that is visible today. Unfortunately, Hill died in 2011 but he had passed many of his secrets on to his daughter, Kristy, who runs the business today.
