The church was extensively re-modelled in 1872, although several 12th century features were retained (eg doorway & pillars). The font dates from this remodelling and is of octagonal form. The bowl has alternate large & small sides and stands on four columns with an infill core between them. All stands on a roughly circular stone platform. The font is very ornately decorated on all sides with religious scenes on the wide panels and flowers on the small ones.
