At the beginning of the 1960s, the painter Harald Duwe created a colourful ceramic stele as "Kunst am Bau" for the primary school in Großensee. In strong colours, the cuboid stele shows stylized landscapes in the changing seasons. The two broad sides show a winter landscape and a summer landscape that merge into one another over the narrow sides. In his graphically oriented pictorial language, the artist picked up recognizable forms such as trees, sun, moon, and clouds, but also a mixture of colored surfaces separated by clear lines.
