The Latimer County Public Library is located on W. Ada Street. Near the entrance is this bronze plaque dedicated to LCpl. Anthony D. Botello who lost his life in the war in Somalia. At this memorial is a flagpole flying the flags of the United States and Oklahoma. The plaque was placed by VFW Post #3549.
