The First Baptist Church was first organized in 1911. Their current building was constructed in 1951 and is a one and two-story tan brick building with a gabled roof. The front entrance facing northeast has a projected glass-walled entry foyer. Windows in the sanctuary are stained glass. At the rear of the church is a two-story classroom wing, and a one-story fellowship hall extending to the north.
This is an active Baptist fellowship with activities for children, youth and adults throughout the week.
