"As part of Onondaga County's ongoing Literacy Initiative, Parks is excited to announce the "Take a Book • Leave a Book" book exchange program. Park visitors will have the opportunity to combine two wonderful activities, enjoying the great outdoors and reading a good book. This free program enables visitors to pick from a varied selection of books found in outdoor book houses at several different parks. Readers are invited to enjoy the book in the park, or take it with them, and either return that book or another* to any of the park locations listed below. There is no charge to participate in the program, although regular park admission rates, where applicable, apply. "
