Er besteht aus drei Balaltsteinen und bildet den Startpunkt des Skulpturenwegs, der durch Mendig führt.

"Der neun Kilometer lange Skulpturenweg in Mendig verbindet über 40 Objekte, die von der Geschichte der Steinhauer und Layer zeugen. Zu sehen sind unter anderem "steinerne Zeugen" der Stadtgeschichte und Skulpturen, die an "Mendiger Originale", wie den "Pflastersteinschläger" oder den "Sämann" erinnern. Von der Museumslay aus, wo mit den "Mannefrauen" und dem Göpelwerk zwei Objekte stehen, zieht sich der Weg, der durch ein rotes Logo gekennzeichnet ist, durch beide Stadtteile."

[EN] This freestanding arch is located on the grounds of the Museumslay in Mendig.

It consists of three balalt stones and forms the starting point of the Sculpture Trail, which leads through Mendig.

"The nine kilometre long Sculpture Trail in Mendig connects over 40 objects that bear witness to the history of the stonemasons and layers.
