This 'you are here' map is located on a sign in the Meadows Car Park in the Stirlingshire town of Callander at the foot of the Scottish Highlands. The pay and display car park is the largest in the town and is located south of the main A84 route through the town towards the western end on the banks of the River Teith.
The sign is situated between the separate entrance and exit to the car park and the map highlights the Callander Heritage Trail including the following numbered locations of interest:
1: VisitScotland Information Centre. 2: War Memorial. 3: Dreadnought Hotel. 4: Tom na Chisaig preaching mound. 5: Old Burgh Graveyard. 6: Callander Kirk. 7: Callender Kirk Hall. 8: Little Leny burial ground. 9: Roman Fort near Bochastle. 10: Dunmore Iron Age Hill Fort. 11: Samson's Putting Stone. 12: Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Cairn. 13: The Red Well. 14: Bracklinn Falls. 15: Auchenlaich Iron Age Hill Fort. 16: Auchenlaich Chambered Cairn.
A smaller map on the sign signifies the Stories in the Stones Heritage Trail which features numbered pavement markers. The rest of the sign gives a history of Callander and the surrounding area with pictures.
