Le parc Giuseppe Garibaldi est situé dans l'arrondissement de Saint-Léonard à Montréal, Québec.
Cet immence parc se trouve entre les rues Dauversière et Liénart/Bélanger (Nord/Sud) et Liénart/Dumesnil (Est/Ouest).
Il a été nommé après Giuseppe Garibaldi, est un général, homme politique et patriote italien. Il est considéré, avec Camillo Cavour, Victor-Emmanuel II et Giuseppe Mazzini, comme l’un des « pères de la patrie » italienne.
La raison de nommer le parc d'après un général italien est le fait que la majorité de la population de St.Leonard est d'origine italienne.

The Giuseppe Garibaldi Park is located in the borough of Saint-Leonard in Montreal, Quebec.
This immense park is located between the streets Dauversière and Liénart / Bélanger (North / South) and Liénart / Dumesnil (East / West).
He was named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, an Italian general and nationalist. A republican, he contributed to the Italian unification and the creation of the Kingdom of Italy.
The reason of naming the park after an Italian general, is the fact that majority of St.Leonard population is of Italian descent.
