Description of Memorial:
Stone on a marble pad, facing the road, along side the Legion Post. In front of stone, a dedicated bench, so that one may sit and face the stone and meditate or remember.
Today, behind the stone is a 22 foot wall, carrying the names of many who served, and was constructed in 2013. This wall has bent wings, bending in toward the stone and is arms reaching around to hug and protect.
The perimeter has several post, painted white and chained together to decorate, protect from automobiles crashing into it, and to funnel foot traffic to the bench and the center of the memorial
