A scenic roadside lookout that few visitors probably ever see, since it is located north of the town (itself being at the "end of the road") along a road that dead-ends at a major coal mine operation. But the view is worth the short drive north from the city, as the overlook offers excellent views of the town of Elkford as well as the Elk River valley lying north of the town.
