Drumright is one of the fortunate post offices to have one of the many WPA-sponsored murals. This was was created in 1941 by Frank Long and is entitled "Oklahoma Land Rush."

Painted on canvas, it shows a field full of eager settlers making their rush for a claim to some Oklahoma land. There are families in wagons, men on horseback, and some running on foot. Land Runs were organized in 1889, 1891, 1893 and 1895, to open up various portions of the Indian Territory for settlement.
