This now-ornamental fountain is prominently placed along Broadway along the sidewalk on the outside of the fence for the historic graveyard of Trinity Church.

It was designed by architect Thomas Nash and installed in 1911. It was built as a memorial to Ann Maria Cotheal Swords by her son Henry C. Swords.
