A shuttle service connects Fort de France to Anse Mitan, and drops you off directly on the beach.
The beach, a long stretch of blond sand directly lined with hotels and houses, is very busy.
Many Foyalese take the shuttle and settle there for the afternoon.
The place is lively. Many young people on the run. The restaurants with terraces a few meters from the water are not lacking in charm. The radios distill their music, between Zouc, Soca and Ragga.
Lovers of tranquility will win their way. Others will appreciate the Anse Mitan for its sight and its animation (evening including), and will be careful under the sun. Not the shadow of a tree.
Many restaurants and refreshments on the beach or nearby.
