A la fin du XIXème siècle, l'ancienne abbaye de Fervaques bâtie à cet emplacement menace ruines. Le Président de la République, Félix FAURE, vient poser la première pierre du palais actuel, œuvre de l'architecte MALGRAS décorée par des artistes locaux.
Cet édifice accueille désormais le Palais de Justice et des salons de réceptions.

At the end of the 19th century, the former abbey of Fervaques built on this site threatened ruins. The President of the Republic, Félix FAURE, laid the first stone of the current palace, the work of the architect MALGRAS, decorated by local artists.
This building now houses the Court House and reception rooms.
