EN: Glacial erratics are large boulders that were brought to the area around Neuchâtel by glaciers 22,000 years ago from very distant places in the Alps and the Jurassic mountains.
About a dozen of them are on display in a section of the park south of the Laténium in Hauterive. The Laténium is the largest archeological museum of Switzerland.
FR: Blocs glaciaires sont de gros blocs qui ont été transportés dans la région de Neuchâtel par les glaciers il y a 22 000 ans, à des endroits très éloignés des Alpes et des montagnes Jurassique.
Une dizaine d’entre eux sont exposés dans une partie du parc au sud du Laténium à Hauterive. Le Laténium est le plus grand musée archéologique de la Suisse.
